Bába Róbert
The Hungarian violinist Bába Róbert, who was born in Yugoslavia, started to play the violin at the age of six.
In 1994 Róbert moved to Holland and started his classical violin studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with András Czifra.
During this period he was also playing traditional music from the Balkan and Hungary.
After graduation in 2000 he started to improvise and decided to study jazz violin with Dick de Graaf ( Rotterdam) and Michael Gustorff ( Arnhem).
The following years Róbert was working in many groups and played a lot of different musical styles including jazz, traditional, tango, salsa and classical.
His musical journey is endless, not only as a performing artist but also as a studio musician and teacher.
